nowk7 ("developer") operates the Stepway mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Information We Collect

Health & Fitness Data

• Step count data: The App reads your daily step count from Apple HealthKit with your explicit permission. This data is used solely to calculate walking distance and track course progress.
• We do not write any data to HealthKit.
• We do not access any health data beyond step count (e.g., heart rate, medical records, sleep data).

Data Stored Locally

• Step count history
• Selected course and progress
• User preferences (stride length, body weight)

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Analytics or tracking SDKs
• Data sent to external servers
• Cookies
• Data shared with third parties

How Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate any servers or cloud storage. Deleting the App permanently removes all data.

HealthKit

The App integrates with Apple HealthKit solely to read step count data. This requires your explicit opt-in. You can revoke permission at any time through Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Stepway.

In accordance with Apple's guidelines:

• Health data is never used for advertising or marketing
• Health data is never sold to third parties
• Health data is never shared for purposes unrelated to the App's core functionality

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date.
